The Cottage is where the caretakers of the old press used to live, and when the olive press finally stopped working in the late 1960's, the cottage underwent its present conversion. One of the great charms of the house is to fall asleep to the lapping of the waves below your window, as you can in the divan beds to either side of the fireplace in the living room. The double bedroom retains the original beams, to which a ceiling fan has been added, and outside a peaceful, private terrace with steps down to the sea offers a sheltered suntrap between the house and gardens.
